Our Team

Our amazing volunteers bring the Safe Families movement to life in the community, guided by a devoted staff pouring their hearts into supporting isolated families, training and vetting volunteers, and partnering with local agencies to help keep families together!

Metro Atlanta is one of SFFC’s recently established chapters. We are a national family preservation movement that recruits volunteers who offer their homes to children in need, and provide temporary care while their parents work to improve their situation. SFFC is designed to be a non-judgmental and supportive network of families and churches working together to keep children safe and families intact.

SFFC believes that by providing families with a voluntary alternative to formal removal, along with a range of supportive services, children will be less likely to enter into the formal Foster care system and have subsequent lengthy contact with CPS.

Our Volunteers

Our churches and volunteer families are the driving force behind the Safe Families movement. Because the impact of SFFC is grounded in Christ-centered relationships, it takes many people working in various capacities to support families facing difficult circumstances. We also have a staff who is passionate about growing the SFFC movement. Staff members support our churches, reach out to referring agencies, authorize host homes, provide training to volunteers, manage hostings, and much more.

We surround families facing crisis with caring, compassionate community. FIND A CHAPTER
